• Developing and implementing purchasing strategies • Implement sound purchasing policies, systems and procedures in accordance with Company standards. • Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks • Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc. • Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation • Monitor vendors for quality, service and price through standard purchasing specifications. • Coordinating with stock control to determine and manage inventory needs • Managing the maintenance of office/golf course equipment and machinery • Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications • Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets

Knowledge and competence qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field • Proven experience as purchasing manager, agent or similar role • Having experience in golf business will be an additional advantage • Good in written and spoken English • Solid understanding of sourcing and administration and vendor relationships • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
