Sous Chef

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• Support the Executive Chef in planning, developing, and refining menus
• Maintain the quality and consistency of dishes to meet restaurant standards
• Oversee kitchen operations including food preparation, ordering, and stock control
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient working environment
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with hygiene and safety regulations at all times
• Monitor and control food costs and assist in inventory checks
• Participate in management meetings and contribute ideas for kitchen and restaurant improvements

คุณสมบัติ

คุณสมบัติด้านความรู้และความสามารถ

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a professional kitchen
• Strong background in Spanish, Mediterranean, or Modern European cuisine (experience with Tapas-style restaurants is a plus)
• Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a kitchen team effectively
• Solid understanding of food hygiene, kitchen safety, cost control, and inventory management
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently and calmly
• Highly responsible, punctual, and committed to continuous self-improvement
• Good communication skills in English (to collaborate with international team members and head chef)
