Khao Yai Vanilla is Thailand's premier producer of single-origin vanilla, cultivated in the fertile foothills of Khao Yai. Our journey began over a decade ago with two gifted vanilla plants that flourished unexpectedly in a backyard garden. This serendipitous discovery ignited a passion to pioneer vanilla cultivation in Thailand. In 2015, Nikki Lohitnavy, Thailand’s first and only fully qualified winemaker, embarked on this venture. By 2017, our farm celebrated its first harvest, and by 2023, we had expanded to become one of the largest vanilla producers in Thailand, with over 5,000 plants across two farms. Our vanilla beans are renowned for their rich, complex aromas—featuring notes of chocolate, dried fruit, and subtle spices. These unique characteristics are a testament to the distinctive terroir of Khao Yai, where the interplay of cool winters and lush rainy seasons creates an ideal environment for vanilla cultivation.At Khao Yai Vanilla, we are committed to sustainability and innovation. Our farm operates as Thailand's first "smart" vanilla farm, utilizing solar-powered systems and custom-built applications to monitor and manage every aspect of cultivation. This approach not only reduces our carbon footprint but also ensures the highest quality and consistency in our products.
