Powder Technical Center ASEAN: From R&D to Industrialization

The model consists of three connected stages:

1. R&D Trials and Pilot Validation
  PTC supports early-stage formulation development, material characterization, and process optimization at laboratory and pilot scale. This stage allows companies to validate technical feasibility, product performance, and regulatory readiness before committing significant capital.
2. Contract Manufacturing (OEM) for Market Testing
  Once technical viability is confirmed, PTC enables contract manufacturing (OEM) production.
  This allows companies to introduce products to the market, test customer acceptance, and refine positioning — while avoiding upfront investment in their own production facilities.
3. Production Line Set-Up and Technology Transfer
  When volumes, demand, and business cases are proven, PTC supports the transition to full-scale production.This includes the supply of processing equipment, process design, and technology transfer, enabling customers to establish their own dedicated production lines.
