Responsible

• Maintain detailed daily formulation records and raw material sampling records
• Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
• Knowledge of raw materials is required. Develop detailed process for lab including order of new raw materials and test results that can be utilized to create more efficient and innovative products.
• Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products
• Report inspection and test data
• Inspires innovation and operational excellence and fosters a continuous learning environment
• Ability to perform regular inspection checks for product quality and safety at the manufacturing plant
• Generates and thoroughly documents results, and maintains instrumentation in a GMP-compliant environment
• Develops product/ process standards and specifications for recent and new products
• Set up equipment (including mixing vessel and homogenizer) used in making formulations
• Prepare personal care & cosmetic formulations following written formulas
• Clean and sterilize instruments, glassware and equipment
• Operate pH Meter to adjust the pH of products * Color & scent matching of cosmetic samples
• Maintain detailed daily formulation records and raw material sampling records
• Restock raw materials and keep track of R & D equipment * Maintain clean and orderly work area
• Must be able to perform duties with a strong emphasis on safety and proper handling of materials as outlined in the company’s policies and procedures
• Perform all other job related duties as assigned
