Responsible

• Customer Support: Act as the primary technical contact for clients via email, ticketing system, and phone. You will handle inquiries ranging from "How do I do this?" to "System down" critical alerts.
• Cegid & Proprietary Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve L1/L2 issues related to Cegid Retail and our internal software solutions.
• Incident Management: Log, track, and manage support tickets ensuring all issues are resolved within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• SQL & Data Analysis: Run SQL queries to investigate data inconsistencies, transaction errors, or stock discrepancies within the POS database.
• Onsite Visits: Travel to client stores or HQs (approximately 20% of the time) for hardware setup, emergency onsite debugging, or project rollouts.
• Documentation: Maintain a knowledge base of common issues and fixes to help both customers and internal teams.

More qualification

• Technical Aptitude (The "Must-Haves") Database Skills: Ability to write basic SQL queries to retrieve data. You don't need to be a developer, but you should be able to look at a database to see if a transaction exists. Troubleshooting Logic: You are good at isolating issues. You know how to check logs, verify internet connectivity, and distinguish between a "software bug" and a "user error." Windows & Hardware: Familiarity with Windows environments and retail peripherals (setting up receipt printers, barcode scanners, and payment terminals).
• Retail Domain Knowledge (The Foundation) Understanding of Store Operations: You know what happens in a store. You understand concepts like Start of Day / End of Day (EOD), shift closings, cash balancing, and why these are critical for store managers. Inventory Logic: You understand the basics of stock movement—Goods In (Receiving), Stock Takes (Counting), Transfers between stores, and Replenishment. POS Experience: Experience supporting ANY Point of Sale (POS) or ERP system (e.g., LS Retail, Oracle Xstore, Dynamics 365, SAP, or even local POS solutions). If you know one, we can teach you ours.
