• Plan and supervise the production and modification of tools and equipment according to the production plan and schedules • Plan preventive maintenance programs covering all tools, equipment, machinery and utilities the factory. • Responsible for the implementation of the approved maintenance programs • Troubleshoot and repair laser systems, high voltage circuits, and precision equipment. • Monitor, test, and maintain power distribution, transformers, switchgear, and control panels. • Plan and execute small construction and installation projects in relation to the factory expansion, re-organization, or maintenance of the facilities within the factory premises and dormitories. • Schedule and allocate tasks to Supervisors, Foreman and Technicians; supervise their performance and provide advice or trainings to improve their efficiency and develop their skills. • Design new tools, parts, supplies at the request of the production department and arrange to produce parts at the factory workshops or outside workshops. • Plan the needed parts, supplies to import mainly from Thailand in cooperation with the Assistant Purchasing Manager. • Acquire technical and basic production knowledge by training by the Group Technical Manager, General Manager/Factory Manager and self-study. • Provide emergency support during the factory operation on night shift or weekend. • Design new electrical and/or automation of tools and machinery and fabricate and test in the production as necessary for production/quality improvement. • Working knowledge on operation of PLC, SCADA, sensors, and other automation technologies is an added advantage.
