Responsible

• Design HVAC systems.
• Analyze project requirements (e.g., buildings, offices, factories, hospitals).
• Perform cooling/heating load calculations.
• Design ductwork, chilled/hot water piping, ventilation, and control systems.
• Select appropriate equipment (e.g., air conditioners, heat pumps, cooling towers, boilers, FCUs).
• Use design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier HAP, TRACE 700).
• Oversee HVAC system installation according to engineering specifications.
• Ensure work quality and system safety.
• Conduct system performance testing (commissioning) before handover.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC equipment for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot issues (e.g., refrigerant leaks, control system malfunctions).
• Retrofit existing systems for energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams (electrical, architectural, civil) to prevent system clashes.
• Design energy-efficient HVAC systems (e.g., VRF systems, high-efficiency chillers).
• Research and implement new technologies (e.g., heat recovery, solar thermal systems).
• Knowledge of Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Heat Transfer.
• Understanding of HVAC standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, Thai Building Code).
• Proficiency in design and simulation software.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
