Knowledge and competence qualifications

Requires experience in customs procedures/customs clearance (shipping/brokering).

Must be knowledgeable and familiar with the customs declaration process.

Ability to accurately classify goods using the Harmonized System (HS Code Classification).

Understands the principles and standards for completing the Customs Declaration Form.

Must have basic English reading and writing skills. (Chinese language proficiency will be given special consideration.)
