Responsibilities:
Admissions Strategy
- Lead admissions operational strategies and applications from enquiry to registration. Oversee the journey that each prospective family takes as they consider SBS Bangkok, to ensure the admissions experience is clear, positive and engaging throughout.
- Utilise excellent communication skills to be the ‘first responder’ to admissions enquiries through telephone; email; social media enquiry etc., and be responsible with the Admissions Officer for conversion between each stage of the process.
- Ensure admissions strategy and implementation meets standards of best value, and liaise with the Head of School to develop admissions financial strategies, scholarships and concessions.
- Maximise the recruiting and admissions process by implementing and maintaining an effective online application process.
- Maintain the School roll utilising the school Management Information System.
- Record and track data to inform the wider analysis and review of the admissions strategy and enrolment figures.
- Conduct and maintain competitor analysis with regards to enrollment features/unique selling points.

Marketing Support
- Working closely with the School Leadership team to become an exemplary high profile ambassador for the school.
- Systematically develop the memorable ‘experience’ moments and ‘wow factors’ throughout the admissions journey.
- Promote open days, welcome mornings and other recruitment events and be an active, approachable and engaging presence with staff, students and parents.
- Ensure the ‘welcome office’ is resourced to showcase the facilities and unique narrative of the school. This is to include physical and virtual resources that readily engage young children and parent interest.
- Maximise opportunities for the Head of School (and other senior colleagues) to meet prospective parents and provide basic translation duties as necessary.
- Showcase school facilities for parental tours and visits.

Administration
- Have responsibility for ensuring the School adheres to all administrative requirements for the recruitment of local and overseas pupils (eg collection of student data; identity; visa; school reports; references etc)
- Administer the SBS Bangkok Admissions budget prudently.
- Ensure that the School’s Admissions Policy and Safeguarding and Child Protection policies are followed.
- Provide basic Thai translation as required by the Head of School and other personnel.
- Fulfil general administrative duties as required and accept flexible deployment within the administrative team as necessary

SBS Bangkok - Admissions & Marketing Officer:
SBS Bangkok, the latest school in the Arthit Ourairat Institution, a group of bilingual and international schools in Thailand, will open to receive the first student cohorts in May 2025, with a view to all KS-13 year groups being filled three years after opening.

The post holder will be responsible for meeting recruitment targets for the initial May 2025 intake, and for further recruitment to meet the three year post opening objective. The postholder will be instrumental in the growth of the administrative team as the school develops.

We are seeking to appoint a capable and experienced colleague to provide management and delivery of the School’s admissions functions to recruit and retain new families and students and support the marketing of the school as it evolves.
The successful candidate will have the capacity to articulate the SBS Bangkok ethos in a compelling manner. They will foster and develop excellent relationships with prospective students and parents, and community stakeholders championing the merits of a SBS education.
The post holder will understand the current educational landscape in Bangkok and have knowledge of local and international student recruitment and marketing strategies to support a start-up school.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, combined with the ability to form and maintain strong relationships, are essential - along with the enthusiasm, energy and a genuine passion for children in education.
Monthly Salary: 25,000 THB + Admissions Incentive bonus (conditions apply)
