Responsible

Manage and lead the Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) team, ensuring 24/7 coverage and efficient threat detection and response.

Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for threat monitoring, incident management, and escalation.

Oversee the analysis of security incidents and ensure timely incident handling and resolution.

Monitor and improve CSOC operations by implementing the latest tools, techniques, and threat intelligence.

Collaborate with other departments to design strategies and improve the overall cybersecurity posture of the organization.

Conduct regular threat assessments, vulnerability analysis, and system audits.

Provide training and guidance to CSOC analysts to improve their skills and knowledge.

Generate reports and communicate key metrics, incidents, and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Experience(Yr) : 5 - 10

Knowledge and competence qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with 2+ years in a leadership role in a CSOC or SOC.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, ISO 27001) and threat modeling concepts.

Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security tools.

Familiarity with incident response processes, including root cause analysis, forensic investigation, and remediation.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC, GCIH) are highly preferred.
