Design HVAC systems.

Analyze project requirements (e.g., buildings, offices, factories, hospitals).

Perform cooling/heating load calculations.

Design ductwork, chilled/hot water piping, ventilation, and control systems.

Select appropriate equipment (e.g., air conditioners, heat pumps, cooling towers, boilers, FCUs).

Use design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier HAP, TRACE 700).

Oversee HVAC system installation according to engineering specifications.

Ensure work quality and system safety.

Conduct system performance testing (commissioning) before handover.

Inspect and maintain HVAC equipment for optimal performance.

Troubleshoot issues (e.g., refrigerant leaks, control system malfunctions).

Retrofit existing systems for energy efficiency.

Collaborate with other engineering teams (electrical, architectural, civil) to prevent system clashes.

Design energy-efficient HVAC systems (e.g., VRF systems, high-efficiency chillers).

Research and implement new technologies (e.g., heat recovery, solar thermal systems).

Knowledge of Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Heat Transfer.

Understanding of HVAC standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, Thai Building Code).

Proficiency in design and simulation software.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
