หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ

1.Technical Proposal Preparation: You will be responsible for preparing technical proposals and cost estimates for civil engineering projects. This involves analyzing project specifications, conducting site visits if necessary, and collaborating with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements.
2.Quantity Take-offs: You will conduct detailed quantity take-offs from construction drawings and specifications. This includes estimating quantities of materials such as concrete, steel and other construction components required for the project.
3.Bill of Materials (BOM) Development: Based on the quantity take-offs, you will develop comprehensive bill of materials (BOM) for the project. This document will list all the materials, equipment, and labor required for construction, along with their associated costs.
4.Supplier and Subcontractor Management: You will liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations for materials, equipment, and services required for the project. It's essential to ensure that these quotations meet project specifications and quality standards.
5. Cost Estimation: Using the gathered information, you will calculate the total cost of the project, including material costs, labor costs, equipment costs, overheads, and contingencies. Your estimates should be accurate, realistic, and competitive.
6. Market Research and Price Analysis: Stay updated with current market prices for construction materials, equipment, and labor. Conduct price analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure that the project remains within budget constraints.
7. Review of Engineering Documents: Interpret civil engineering drawings, specifications, and scope of work documents to understand project requirements thoroughly. Identify any discrepancies or potential issues that may impact cost estimates.
8. Preparation of Tender Documents: Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including cost breakdowns, schedules, and other relevant information required for the bidding process.
9. Attendance at Pre and Post-tender Meetings: Participate in pre-tender meetings to clarify project requirements and specifications. Attend post-tender meetings to provide insights into cost estimates and address any queries from stakeholders.
10. Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve cost estimation processes and techniques. Implement best practices and tools to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and productivity in cost estimation activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or related fields
• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Ability to work in a team environment and interface
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Proficiency in computer skills and excellent skill in Visio, Auto CAD, and SketchUp
Preferred skills:
• Knowledge of estimating techniques
• Highly numerate with the ability to research, assemble manage and manipulate numerical information
• Strong technical mindset and able to read and interpret technical data and translate to others
