The Challenge:

Our traditional radio show, while beloved by many, is facing the inevitable wind of changes as the new era transcends upon the industry. We are embarking on a mission to transform our content, introduce fresh, captivating shows, and attract sponsors in new and innovative ways. To achieve this, we need a Creative News Media Entrepreneur in Residence who can wear multiple hats—a visionary content creator and a strategic entrepreneur capable of securing advertising partnerships.

In this groundbreaking role, you'll step into the spotlight as a driving force behind our transformation. This multifaceted role combines the art of content creation with the strategic mindset of an entrepreneur. You will be given the opportunity to explore new formats, experiment with different topics, and infuse your unique personality into the content. Your creativity and entrepreneurial spirit will be the cornerstones of your success as you conceptualize, produce, and present fresh, innovative content that captivates audiences on both radio and digital platforms, expands our reach. Simultaneously, you will leverage your charisma, communication skills, and strategic thinking to take on the challenge of securing sponsorships and building lasting partnerships with advertisers to propel our growth along with your remuneration.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Innovative Content Creation:
- Conceptualize, craft, and host new, distinctive, and innovative shows that break the mold and captivate the audiences in our target demographics.
- Collaborate with our team to brainstorm, generate engaging content ideas, conduct research, create scripts, and execute groundbreaking content ideas to captivate listeners and viewers.
2. Audience Engagement and Growth:
- Build a dedicated following through engaging and informative news coverage and original content creation.
- Leverage social media and digital platforms to expand our audience base.

3. Entrepreneurial Leadership:
- Identify and approach potential sponsors and advertisers with compelling proposals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors, ensuring their needs align with our creative vision.

4. Partnership Advancement Potential:

- Creative thinking, adaptability, flexibility, and a passion to shape the boundaries in the fast-paced, evolving news media landscape.
- A strong work ethic, self-motivation, and initiative, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision and guidance.
- A willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges and responsibilities, and the ability to handle feedback, criticism, and pressure.
